Abbey Miller
Working closely with CANR Advancement, Abbey provides strategic donor and alumni communications and marketing needs for the college, alumni association, MSU Extension and 4-H.
She manages online and printed donor publications, digital communications, solicitation strategies, and other fundraising materials. She writes, edits and coordinates donor and alumni feature stories, photography, video, news releases and media relations. She provides communications support for donor and alumni special events. She also maintains giving web pages for the CANR and MSU Extension ensuring the content is in line with college messages and branding.
Additionally, Abbey helps support communication efforts for the:
- Michigan 4-H Foundation
- Department of Community Sustainability
- School of Packaging
With over 20 years of philanthropic communications experience, her previous experience includes donor and alumni communications for MSU Extension and the Michigan 4-H Foundation where she served as communications and annual giving manager, and graphic designer.
Miller received bachelor degrees from MSU in both animal science and agriculture and natural resources communications. She also attended The Fundraising School at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
